About This Station
The station is powered by a Ecowitt HP2551 weather station. The data is collected every 30 seconds and the site is updated every 5 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather-Display Software. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge, UV/Solar sensor and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.
About This City
Welcome to Tamworth the ancient capital of Mercia. Mercia's exact evolution from the Anglo-Saxon invasions is obscure. The earliest king of Mercia of whom any details are known is Creoda, said to have been the great-grandson of Icel. Coming to power around 584AD, he built a fortress at Tamworth which became the seat of Mercia's kings.
